Paper Flourish Lessons

All lesson costs include materials which will be provided by the instructor.

Participants will need to bring along a basic tool kit to use -with exception of the 'Free Beginners Lessons' where they will be provided. (Tool kits can be made available upon request for other lessons also if required)

Example of a Basic Tool Kit:
Double sided tape, Foam mounting tape, Glossy Accents (or similar glue), Paper Trimmer, Ruler with inches, Pencil, Rubber, Scissors, Tweezers, Paper Scorer (such as a bone folder), Ink Blending Tool and neutral ink pad (such as Tim Holtz Antique Linen or Walnut Stain).

The cost of each lesson will depend on the amount of products used, however usually range between $15 - $30.

There will be a $5 cancellation fee for all lesson cancellations giving less than 24 hours’ notice, unless we have someone on a wait list and the space can be quickly filled (this is due to all materials such a paper and ribbon already being cut to size to make up the class kit).If you do not turn up for a lesson or cancel a12 hours before the start time, the full amount of the lesson will be payable.

Types of lessons

Cuttlebug Cards
These lessons have been extremely popular in the past and we will continue to run these at Paper Flourish. Participants will make up to 4 greeting cards using the Cuttlebug to emboss or cut a design or embellishment.

ATC (Artist Trading Cards)
Participants will make a minimum of 1 ATC with a particular design which can be copied if desired

ATC Free Style Challenge
Participants will be given a product to use in making a minimum of 1 ATC and creating their own design (assistance available as required)

Kaiser 6x6 Cards
This is self paced lesson where participants will be able to make up to 6 cards. There will be 10-12 designs available to copy or participants can choose to make their own design. Each participant will be given, one 6"x 6" Kasier pad, 1 pack of 6 cards and rub-ons to keep. Other products such as ribbon, flowers and bling will be available in the lesson to use. Tools such as punches, Cuttlebugs and stamps will also be available to be used in the lesson time.

Handmade Scrapbooking
These lessons are great for new scrapbookers or those who are on a tight budget. Participants will make 1 single page layout making most of the embellishments by hand.

Afterschool Crafts
For school aged children from 7 years and above (Children aged between 7-10 will require a parent to stay with them during the lesson), held after school each fortnight, children will learn many new techniques and enjoy making fun projects. These lessons will include crafts such as, scrapbooking, card making, off the page projects and much more.

Free Style Scrapbooking
Bring along your own project and supplies to scrap in class. A teacher will be available for advice and inspiration during the lesson time so will all of our tools.

Techniques
A new technique will be taught to participants each lesson. Examples include, stamping, embossing, making flowers, inking, using rub-ons, distressing, heat embossing, using markers to stamp etc... (requests encouraged)

Off the Page
Examples of off the page projects include, Collections Chipboard, Exploding Box, Star Album or Squash Book

Free Beginners Scrapbooking
Want to preserve your memories, not sure where to start.....? These free lessons will be held monthly and are deigned for people new to paper crafts who would like to learn the basics of scrapbooking.

Mature Ladies
Designed for retirees who want to craft at a more casual pace. Projects will include, card making, off the page projects and traditional paper crafts.

Specialty Cards
These are fun and popular classes, and include card making such as quilling, 3D pop up & iris folding just to name a few.

Quick Cards
Make one specialty card in a shorter and cheaper lesson, great for busy and budget minded crafters

Kaiser Project (from magazine)
Participants will be making one complete project from the latest Kaiser Craft Free Magazine. All materials required for the project will be provided along with instructions. Great class for those who love the Kaiser Magazine projects, but just not sure where to start!

Group Requests
Do you have a group who want to learn how to make a particular project or layout out? Book your group in and request the project, minimum of 6 participants required to book this lesson (maximum 9).

Mums & Babies
Bring your baby with you along to class. These lessons are limited in numbers so your pram can fit next to you. We have a kids play area for your older kids too.

Do Crafts
Making one project from the Do Crafts range of products and magazine.

Craft Pizza Party
Freestyle crafting social event, bring your own project and supplies, we provide the Pizza and Entertainment :)
